In Italian, the word bella means beautiful, and this is how Bella’s Confections creator, Eric DeHoff will always remember his grandmother and her delicious fudge. Eric, who has a degree in marketing and advertising, has worked in both retail business and visual merchandising and has successfully turned his grandmother's recipe into one of the most sought after fudges in the retail chocolate industry.

Eric, who grew up in Northern California, has wonderful memories watching his grandmother make her decadent fudge as a treat for her family and friends. Eric felt the best way to honor his beloved grandmother was to produce and sell her fudge. By doing this, he knew that he would be able to share with millions the memories he experienced, thus Bella’s Confections gourmet fudge was born.

Bella’s Confections is made possible by every member in the extremely talented, and tight-knit, DeHoff family. It is with the wisdom, drive, and inspiration that his family has given him that has allowed Eric to launch Bella’s Confections to the success seen today. Bella’s Confections is produced and distributed from Eric’s hometown, a tribute that he feels gives back to the community they lived and grew up in.

Each piece of Bella’s Confections mouth-watering fudge is handmade and packaged in the Bella’s Confections certified kitchen located in the birthplace of the fudge. Every recipe of fudge is FDA approved and is made with only the finest and richest ingredients that create the smooth and creamy taste.

Bella’s Confections is known for their wide variety of Semi-Sweet and Dark Chocolate flavors. Currently the Classic collection include Semi-Sweet Chocolate and Chocolate with Walnuts. The Signature Collection includes German Chocolate Cake, Orange Marmalade, Peanut Butter Decadence, and Vanilla Caramel Pecan. For those who favor Dark Chocolate, Bella’s Confections offers Dark Chocolate Classic, Dark Chocolate with Walnuts, Dark Chocolate Marmalade, and Dark Peanut Butter Decadence. The Seasonal Collection flavors are available from October through December and include Pumpkin Pecan Spice, Holiday Jubilee, and Peppermint Stick Bark.

Besides giving back to his hometown, Bella’s Confections also supports causes that affect many people’s lives. Throughout the months of September and October, Bella’s Confections creates a special edition think pink Bella’s Bites. These bite sized treats are decorated with edible sugar candy Breast Cancer ribbon charms. From each container sold, Bella’s Confections donates fifty percent to the Freemont-Rideout Cancer Foundation for research and awareness. The DeHoff family also supports the heart association for the months of February and March by donating fifty percent of sales to the charity.

New for 2008, Bella’s Confections has new offering such as Bella Bites (6 1oz. bites), Jumbo Bites (Cupcake size approximately 5 oz.) and their new fudge flavor German Chocolate Delight. In addition to offering new flavors and sizes of their delicious fudge, Bella’s Confections is excited to introduce a limited edition holiday collection of Bella’s Bites that will be decorated with snowmen, candy canes and Christmas trees.

Retail price points for fudge tins range from 10.95 to 14.95, Bella’s Bites is $12.95 and Jumbo Bites are $3.00 each.
